Varieties: Pansa blanca (80%), white grenache (20%)
Terroir: Granitic arena and clayey soil (“sauló”), mainly from two plots: 1) Maresme / Cabrils, 15 km up North from Barcelona and 2km from the seaside, on the coastal mountains, with vines of 15 years of age. 2) Vallès Oriental / Santa Maria de Martorelles, 25 km up North from Barcelona in a mountainous environment, with centenary vines.
Degrees of alcohol: 13.5°
Uncertified organic wine growing, harvested by hand
Fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels of 3, 4 and 5 wines, as well as in microporous ovoid vats of 1100 l for 6 months
Eye: Pale yellow, clean and bright.
Nose: Subtle notes of white fruit and flowers. Intense aromas of ripe and tropical fruits that stand out before a slighly citric finish.
Mouth: Voluminous, soft and fresh at the same time. Its acidity structures a dry wine with fruity notes, and a broad and almost lactic finish.
Food and wine pairing
Alone, as a light aperitif, with seafood or fish, salads or rice, but also with a grilled suckling pig. An amazing chameleon.
