History and team
Testuan is a group of friends of Catalan and French roots, from very different professional backgrounds, but sharing the same passion and values for vine and wine.
The multidisciplinary nature of our team offers us multiple opportunities to develop Testuan by integrating innovative views and perspectives for all stages of production and distribution, at the service of our clients.
In 2010, we started our journey in the world of wine to produce a white wine in the privileged area of the DO Alella, within the Maresme Coastal Range tempered by the Mediterranean breeze at 15 km up North from Barcelona.
Today, we have a wider range of white and red wines from two very different territories, DO Alella and DO Montsant, but always produced with respect to our values.

The heart of our winery is in Alella where we produce white wines such as the 3 de Testuan and reds like the Xirá. In the vineyard, we work with “Pansa blanca”, a native variety of the DO Alella, and in a typical “terroir” of the area, the granitic arena (sauló).
For some years now, we have been collaborating with a DO Montsant winery to make red wines such as the Set de Fosc and the Nuar to further expand our range, following the same philosophy. In the Montsant vineyards, we work with Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, the main varieties of the DO, and in a “terroir” of shale (Llicorella).
