Designation of origin: DO Alella
Color: red pepper with a note of ripe violet and a well-formed tear.
On the nose: it reveals its personality and typicality of the Montsant region and a surprising complexity to be a wine that has been as little married with wood. The ripe red fruits prevail in front of balsamic notes (mint). It is a wine that generates a feeling of Mediterranean freshness.
On the palate: first fruity sensation, fresh and sweet with warmer notes on the end. A long, structured wine with a clean, round tannin. It is characterized by the combination of the purity of the red fruit conferred by Grenache, the balsamic freshness that Carignan brings and the well-adjusted acidity of Syrah.
Food and wine…
It is very pleasant to enjoy while sharing a drink on the run, with a “mountain arrosso” (rice dish with meat), a red meat or a stew.
