Tasting note
Celler Testuan’s BriZat 2019 is a white wine made like a red wine, that is, in contact with all the solid components of the 100% monovarietal white grape (“brisa”) from Maresme área (Barcelona). Fermented in a stainless steel tank with skins for 4 months, it consists in an organic micro production (without certification). It has zero added sulfites (minimum for bottling), it has not been clarified and has been lightly filtered.
Eye: golden and shining colors.
Nose: it shows a high aromatic intensity of ripe Stone fruits with hints of Mediterranean rosemary and thyme.
Mouth: it is wide and sweet on the palate, with mineral notes, fresh with a salty point and a good finish that lengthens.
Food and wine
It is very pleasant with fresh pastas, rice dishes, vegetables, seafood from the coast and the occasional marinade.
